On way he tells me there was a problem and the software needs paying for which is £170 but would refund me once dropping it and the 2 customers off anyway I give a guy the cash and then go to the Hilton in Milton Keynes to pick up the other customers to bring back to newark on Trent once I get there I’m waiting 20 mins and then he phoned me to tell me that they wouldn’t be coming now as they have had a positive covid test so will be getting some other staff from Coventry and to just come back to newark with the software
Anyway I get back to newark and the fare was £380 for the total trip plus the £170 I had given the guy for the software
Obviously turns out he is a scammer
Anyway I met the guy for the software in my Tesla which luckily had recorded him so I have messaged him to return my money or I will be going to the police
Be very careful
I don’t normally do jobs out of town without payment upfront but he was so convincing and you would think you would be safe with it being boots the chemist
Obviously that was just a front
